RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS OF WATER
DISTRICT NO. 7, WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON APPROVING THE
ANNEXATION OF AN AREA MORE PARTICULARLY DESCRIBED IN
EXHIBIT "A" ATTACHED HERETO AND BY REFERENCE MADE A PART
HEREOF
WHEREAS, a petition was filed with Water District No. 7,
Whatcom County, Washington, requesting that their area in the
petition be annexed to and included in the area served by Water
District No. 7, and
WHEREAS, the petition was signed by sixty (60%) percent of
the property owners, and
WHEREAS, a public hearing was held at Bloedel Donovan Park
Recreation Hall, Bellingham, Washington on Monday, September 29,
1975 at 7: 30 P.M., and
WHEREAS, there was no opposition to the annexation, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Water Commissioners of Water District
No. 7, Whatcom County, Washington, find annexation would be to
the benefit of Water District No. 7,
NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Water Commissioners of Water
District No. 7, Whatcom County, Washington, as follows:
1. That the entire area covered by the petition shall be
annexed, which property is more particularly described on Exhibit
"A" attached hereto and by reference made a part hereof.
ADOPTED at the public hearing held at Bloedel Donovan Park
Recreation Hall, Bellingham, Washington on Monday, September 29,
1975, and conformed in their regular meeting held on the 6th day
of October, 1975.

A tract of land in Sections 10, 15 and 22; Township 38 north,
Range 3 East, W.M., more particularly described as follows:
Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 14, Plat of
Emerald Lake Division No. 3; thence Westerly along the North
line of the blest Half of the Southwest Quarter of the South-
east Quarter of Section 10, Township 38 North, Range 3 East.,
to the Westerly margin of Dale Street as per the map of

PETITION FOR ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY TO WATER DISTRICT
TO: Commissioners, Water District No. 7, Whatcom County,
Washington.
The undersigned, who constitute sixty percent of the
owners of property in the following described territory,
respectfully petition that such territory be annexed to Water
District No. 7, Whatcom County, Washington, upon the -following
showing:

That the area proposed to be annexed in said water
district is set out in the accompanying Exhibit "A", attached
hereto and by reference made a part hereof; and that the plat
of the area, is Exhibit "BTT, attached hereto and by reference
made a part hereof.

That such territory adjoins the boundaries of. Water
District No. 7.
WHEREFORE, petitioners pray that said Board of
Commissioners express their concurrence in such petition and
forward the same to Board of County Commissioners, Whatcom
County, Washington, for hearing as described by RCW 57.24.080.

This is a request for information on new taxing districts, annexations
to incorporated cities and towns and consolidations or boundary changes in
existing districts that have occurred in your county for the 1976 assessment
year, for taxes payable in 1977.
It is important that we have your advise for any and all revisions in
taxing district boundaries or their identities effective as of March 1,
1976, in order that we may correctly allocate utility values and distribute
the timber tax to the various taxing districts in your county for the year,
1976.
Kindly check with your county auditor, county commissioners and county
superintendent of schools in order to be certain that no new districts have
been created or revisions made in existing districts for which you have not
been informed. In case of annexations or consolidations, it is important
that you advise us of any segregations that remain because of bonded indebt-
edness to the original areas and their identities as they will appear on
your levy statement.
I would appreciate it if
you would send me the ordinance with an
attached
map of the area that
is changed or annexed, immediately after it
has
been
adopted, instead of waiting for the deadline on March 1, 1976.
