Auditors Attached is Resolution No. 459 approved by the Commission on March 26, 2002. The resolution revised the District boundaries in accordance with RCW 54.12.010. The District boundaries conform with Whatcom County Council Districts as set forth in Exhibit A (also attached) adopted under Whatcom Ordinance No. 2001-052. Sincerely, (rflm A4VVP-111� Tom Anderson General Manager Commissioners: Bob Ebright, Paul Kenner, Mike Murphy • Tom Anderson, General Manager Resolution No. 459 A Resolution of the Board of Commissioners of Public Utility District No. 1 of Whatcom County ("PUD") to set District Boundaries for Public Utility District No. 1 of Whatcom County WHEREAS, the County is divided into three (3) districts so that each district shall comprise as nearly as possible, one-third (1/3) of the population of the County, and WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Districting Committee convened for the purpose of reviewing the boundaries of the County Council Districts; and WHEREAS, the Districting Committee pursuant to Whatcom County Charter Section 4.42, recommended that Whatcom County revise the boundaries of its three (3) Districts in accordance with the boundary lines as set forth in Exhibit A; and WHEREAS, Whatcom County adopted the Exhibit A boundaries for its three (3) Council District under Whatcom Ordinance No. 2001-052 effective October 23, 2001, and WHEREAS, the PUD in accordance with RCW 54.12.010 wishes to revise the boundaries of its three (3) Commissioner Districts as set under Resolution 295 to conform with the new boundaries established by Whatcom County NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the boundaries of the three (3) Commissioner Districts as established in Resolution No. 295 be amended and revised to conform with the boundaries as set forth in Exhibit A attached to this Resolution ADOPTED by the Commissioners of Whatcom County Public Utility District No. 1 at its regular meeting held on the 261h day of March, 2002. Between Council District 1 and Council District 2 the line shall be as follows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of E Street in the City Limits of Bellingham and its projection with the intersection of the shoreline of Bellingham Bay; then northeasterly along the said centerline of E Street to its intersection with the centerline of Logan Street; then southeasterly along said centerline of Logan Street to its intersection with the centerline of Cornwall Avenue; then south along said centerline of Cornwall Avenue to its intersection with the centerline of Carolina Street; then east along said centerline of Carolina Street to its intersection with the centerline of King Street; then north along said centerline of King Street to its intersection with the centerline of Texas Street; then east along said centerline of Texas Street to its intersection with the centerline of I-5; then north along said centerline of I-5 to its intersection with the centerline of Alabama Street; then east along said centerline of Alabama Street to its intersection with the centerline of Pacific Street; then south along said centerline of Pacific Street to its intersection with the centerline of Texas Street; then east along said centerline of Texas Street to its intersection with the centerline of Yew Street; then north along said centerline of Yew Street to its intersection with the centerline of Alabama Street; then east along said centerline of Alabama Street to its intersection with the centerline of Martin Street projected; thence southeast to the intersection of the easterly shoreline of Lake Whatcom and the city limits of the City of Bellingham; then easterly and northerly along said city limits to its intersection with the center point of Sections 22, 23, 27 and 26, Township 38 North, Range 3 East; then east along said section line of Section 23 to the quarter corner of the west half of said Section 23; then north along the centerline of the west half of Section 23 to the northeast corner of the southwest quarter of the southwest quarter of Section 23; then east to the centerline of said Section 23; then north to the east -west centerline of said Section 23; then east 1 1/2 miles to the west Section line of Section 19, Township 38 North, Range 4 East; then north along said Section line of Section 19 and Sections 18, 7, and 6 to the southwest corner of Section 31, Township 39 North, Range 4 East; then east along said centerline of Sections 31 and 32 to the intersection with the centerline of the Mount Baker Highway; then northeast along said centerline of Mount Baker Highway to its intersection with the meanderline of the Nooksack River; then southerly and easterly along said meanderline to its intersection with the north Section line of Section 6, Township 38 North, Range 5 East; then east along said Section line approximately two miles to its intersection with the meanderline of the Nooksack River; then northerly, easterly, and southerly along said meanderline to its intersection with the northwest corner of Section 2, Township 38 North, Range 5 East; then east along the north Section line of Page 2 Sections 2, 1, Township 38 North, Range 5 East and Sections 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, and 1 in Township 38 North, Range 6 East; then continuing east to the Boundary of Whatcom County. B. Between Council District 2 and Council District 3 the line shall be as follows: Beginning at the intersection of Cherry Street in the City of Bellingham and its projection with the shoreline of Bellingham Bay; then north along said centerline of Cherry Street to its intersection with the centerline of Monroe Street; then east along said centerline of Monroe Street to its intersection with the centerline of Henry Street; then north along said centerline of Henry Street to its intersection with the centerline of West North Street; then east along said centerline of West North Street to its intersection with the centerline of Meridian Street; then north along said centerlines of Meridian Street and the Guide Meridian to its intersection with the International Boundary Line.
