Dear Gary,
The 60 day time period has elapsed in which jurisdiction could be taken in
Fire District 7's request for annexation of unprotected property (BRB 85-09).
In accordance with RCW 36.93.100, the action is deemed aproved. The 60-day
time period elapsed October 7, 1985.
Fire District #7 is responsible for filing proper notices with various
agencies and departments and should not be considered annexed until such
notices have been properly filed. If you have any questions, please don't

We are herewith transmitting the following items to assist in your consideration
of this proposed action. The items submitted are numbered in accordance with
the listing below:
1. A description of the nature of the proposed action, including a
citation of statutory provisions under which the action is sought.
2. A brief statement regarding the general background of and the
reasons for seeking the proposed action.
3. The legal description of the boundaries of -the area involved in the
proposed action. (This must be a legible copy, capable of
satisfactory reproduction by Xerox, etc., on a separate page
entirely.
4. Whatcom County Engineer's Section map (8 1/2" x 11" Minimum) on which
the area involved in the proposed action is clearly indicated and its
size IN ACRES stated, together with the present corporate limits in
the vicinity.
5. An 8 1/2" x 11" (minimum) vicinity map designating the area of the
proposed action, together with all significant geographic features,
including bodies of water, major streets and highways, and boundaries
of all units of government in the area as they presently exist. This
map should show the area for at least one mile on all sides of the area
involved in the proposed action.
6. A map (8 1/2" x 11" Minimum) of the corporate limits or special
purpose district limits as they currently exist.
7. A review of the factors stated in RCW 36.93.170* as they affect this
proposed action.

NOTICE OF
DECLINE OF JURISDICTION
Boundary Review Board File No. BRB 85-09 which is a request
from the City/TownjSpecial Purpose District of FIRE DISTRICT NO. 7
has filed a Notice of Intention requesting Annexation of properties to
include people and property not included in a fire district.
Jurisdiction will not be invoked by the Board and the action shall be deemed
approved if review is not requested by any Government Unit affected or by a
petition, pursuant to Section 10, Chapter 189, Laws of 1967.
In accordance with RCW 36.93:100, if a period of 60 days shall elapse without
the Board's jurisdiction having been invoked, the proposed action shall be
deemed approved.
Any person or entity seeking review, except for the Boundary Review Board
itself, shall pay to the Whatcom County Treasurer, current expense fund, the
sum of One Hundred ($100) Dollars.
