Failure to follow these instructions may invalidate your ballot. The ballot which you have received is actually a data processing card prepared for recording your vote. Do not mark, fold or punch the ballot punchcard except as outlined in the instructions. Such services will necessitate the expenditure of revenues for maintenance, operation and equipment. NOW THERFORE: be it resolved by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire District No.6, Washington as follows: SECTION 1. That the District shall provide emergency medical care or emergency medical services, including related personnel costs, training for such personnel and related equipment, supplies, vehicles and structures needed for the provision of the emergency medical care or emergency medical services. SECTION 2. In order to produce the revenue adequate to pay the costs of providing of life protection services as described in SECTION 1 of this resolution and to maintain funds sufficient to assure the continuation of such services, the District shall levy in 2003 and collect in 2004, a general tax on taxable property within the District, maintenance and operation costs of emergency medical services in the amount of $.25 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. SECTION 3. There shall be submitted to the qualified electors of the District for their ratification or rejection, at an election on November 5`h, 2002 the question of whether or not such levy for maintenance and operations of the emergency medical services shall be made. ADOPTED at the special meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire Protection District No.6 on this 25`h day of September 2002. Such services will necessitate the expenditure of revenues for maintenance, operation and equipment. NOW THERFORE: be it resolved by the Board of Fire Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire District No.6, Washington as follows: SECTION 1. That the District shall provide emergency medical care or emergency medical services, including related personnel costs, training for such personnel and related equipment, supplies, vehicles and structures needed for the provision of the emergency medical care or emergency medical services. SECTION 2. In order to produce the revenue adequate to pay the costs of providing of life protection services as described in SECTION 1 of this resolution and to maintain funds sufficient to assure the continuation of such services, the District shall levy in 2003 and collect in 2004, a general tax on taxable property within the District, maintenance and operation costs of emergency medical services in the amount of $.25 per $1,000 of assessed valuation. SECTION 3. There shall be submitted to the qualified electors of the District for their ratification or rejection, at an election on November 51h, 2002 the question of whether or not such levy for maintenance and operations of the emergency medical services shall be made. ADOPTED at the special meeting of the Board of Fire Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire Protection District No.6 on this 251h day of September 2002.
