The proposition concerned imposing an excess property tax levy to repay general obligation bonds to construct a new public library. A minimum turnout of 40% of voters in the last General Election was required and 60% approval of the total turnout was needed for passage. Minimum Numbers for Validation: Number of persons voting last General Election: 5,287 40% Minimum Turnout Required: 2,115 Needs 60% Yes Vote of TOTAL Turnout Actual Results: Approved - 1,728 Rejected - 1,056 Total Votes — 2,784 62.07% 37.93% The minimum required turnout was met and the proposition received 60% Yes vote of the total turnout and therefore, Passed.
