The recount will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 4, 1997, in the Whatcom County Auditor's office, Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue, Suite 103, Bellingham, Washington and continue until the manual recount is completed. These meetings of the Canvassing Board are open public meetings under the applicable provisions of Chapter 42.30 R.C.W. A record of the proceedings of the County Canvassing Board shall be made and maintained in the County Auditor's Office, and shall be made available for public inspection and coping. the record shall be retained for the same time period required by law for the retention of absentee ballots. The Everson Recount Committee may observe the recount and may be accompanied by legal counsel.
