Enclosed is a resolution from Cemetery District No. 1 finding that a levy is necessary to
continue the operations, maintenance and repair and administrative duties for the district.
Please approve the levy as to form from Cemetery District No. 1 for placement on the
September 20, 2005 Primary Election or re -write the levy as to form.
I have also enclosed contact information for Candy Roberts, Chairman/Commissioner of

OF WHATCOM COUNTY CEMETERY DISTRICT NUMBER 1,
FIND THAT A LEVY IS NECESSARY TO CONTINUE THE
OPERATIONS, MAINTAINENCE AND REPAIR AND
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES FOR THIS DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, in order to properly provide for maintenance and repair,
administrative service, the District deems it necessary that a tax of approximately

Section 1. The Board of Commissioners of Whatcom County Cemetery
District No. 1 hereby finds and declares that an operation levy is necessary in order to
provide maintenance and repair and administrative service of the District, as well as
within the District, all as specified in Whatcom County Cemetery District No. 1
Resolution No. 01-05.
The Secretary of the Board of Commissioners is hereby authorized and
directed to deliver a certified copy of this Resolution to the Whatcom County Auditor.
ADOPTED by the Board of Commissioners of Whatcom County
Cemetery District No. 1, Whatcom County, Washington, at a regular public meeting
