Please note: There will be no opportunity for public comment during this meeting.
IMPORTANT NOTIFICATION:
Whatcom County strongly encourages members of the public to view the
meetings live online through the Legislative Information Center at
https://whatcom.legistar.com/Calendar.aspx instead of attending in person.
All Councilmembers will participate remotely through an online web -based meeting platform. No
Councilmembers will be present in the Council Chambers for the meeting. There will be no public
comment during these meetings. A live video of the online meeting will be projected on the screen
in the Council Chambers, and a live stream of the meeting will be available for viewing through the
Legislative Information Center.
In accordance with COVID-19 (corona virus) guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC)
and the Whatcom County Health Department, gathering of large groups is currently not
recommended due to the potential transmission of this disease. If you do attend the meeting in the
Council Chambers, please consider the CDC Guidelines available here:
https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prepare/prevention.html
This includes staying home if you are sick, covering coughs and sneezes, washing hands before you
leave your house and when you arrive, and maintaining a distance of 6 feet between yourself and
other people.
