amount of $105,000 (Council acting as the Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District Board of
Supervisors)
SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Supplemental no. 3 requests fi•om the Flood Control Zone District Fund to appropriate $5,000 from
Samish Watershed Subzone to Maintenance & Operations due to an increase in labor costs. This
request also appropriates $100,000 to Maintenance & Operations via DOE grants for Adjudication
technical assistance, for a net Fund effect of $5,000

RESOLUTION NO. 2025-028
(A resolution of the Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District Board of Supervisors)
AMENDMENT NO. 3 OF THE 2025 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2025 budget for the Whatcom County Flood Control Zone District and
Subzones was adopted November 19, 2024, with Resolution 2024-050; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2025 budget;
and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Board of Supervisors,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Flood Control Zone
District Board of Supervisors that the 2025 budget, as approved in Resolution 2024-050, is
hereby amended, adding the following amounts to the budgets presented below and further
described in Exhibit A of this resolution:
