NO - 124 + VOTES, NO 92 (This shall not be construed to authorize an excess 1 9 levy and shall be subject to otherwise applicable statutory limits.) D �!1-, lb If FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO.15 WHATCOM COUNTY RESOLUTION NO. 35 A resolution of the Board of Fire Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 15, providing for the submission to the qualified electors of the district at a Special Electon to be held therein, in conjuction with the primary election on September 18., 1984 of the proposition which would authorize lifting the 106% LID Law for Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 15. WHEREAS, in the judgement of the Board of Fire Commissioners of the district, it is essential and necessary for the protection of the public health, life, and property, that necessary equipment be acquired to adequately supply the residents of said district with fire suppres— sion capabilities. WHEREAS, the inflationary increase of operation has exceded the revenue, due to restrictions imposed by legislative action, from the property tax. THEREFORE, be it RESOLVED, that the Board of Fire Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 15 submit a proposal to the qualified electors of said district requestion authorization to restore the $1.00 per thousand dollars of assessed valuation;, which does not exceed the statutory limit authorized by laws, without a vote of the resident electors of said district. ADOPTED AT THE REGULArR MEETION OF THE Board of Commissioners of Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 15 this 23rd. day of Aprial 1984.
