For more information, see training agenda or contact the Council Office at 360.778.5010. Notice Distribution Date: April 28, 2023. DRAFT Agenda Tuesday, May 2 Hotel Rooms are available for those traveling and needing accommodation. 5 — 8 pm Registration Open Semiahmoo Ballroom 6 — 8 pm Dinner - provided for attendees and any Tent Pavilion and Lawn additional guests. 7:30 — 8:30 pm PH Film screening Please join us to watch a screening of a public health documentary. Wednesday, May 3 Registration in front of Semiahmoo Ballroom is available all day. Hotel Rooms are available for those needing accommodation. 7 — 8 am Breakfast Semiahmoo Ballroom 8— 12 pm CDC Training: Public Health Law 101 This training addresses legal issues and Public Health Emergency Law that can arise during public health emergencies, including basics of Guests: CDC Public Health Law public health law, state and federal Program emergency declarations, isolation and quarantine, evacuations and at - risk populations, liability and immunity, and power over property. 12 — 1 pm Lunch Semiahmoo Ballroom 1-4 pm CDC Training: Crisis and Risk This training will focus on how the Communication real-time exchange of information between experts or officials and Guests: CDC Public Health Law people who face a threat (from a Program hazard) is critical to their health and social well-being. 6-8 pm Closing Remarks and Dinner Buffet Tent Pavilion and Lawn Adjourn Safe travels home, and thank you for attending!
