HERALD and radio sta-
tion KGMI. The purpose
Of the meeting was to
nominate persons for
commissioner positions

submitted for nomina-

gurdson residence at
5371 Ferndale Road,
Ferndale. WA. The polls
Will be open at 7:0o A.M.
and close at a:oo P.M.

The Diking District
No. 1 includes the area
generally south of Fern-
dale and west of the
Nooksach River. All land
- owners who are regis-
tered voters and who are
an the tax rolls for the
diking assessment are el-
igfble to participate in
this election. Public no-
tices will be posted at 4
Places in the district as is
1egalned by the state
law. This announcement
will also .appear Ln the
legal notices in this
paper on the following
days: Oct.. 23, Nov, 15,
