Griffin, Deputy Auditor of Whatcom County, Washington, we the undersigned, Shirley Van Zanten, Whatcom County Council Chairperson and David S. Mc Eachran, Prosecuting Attorney of Whatcom County, now meet with Peter J. Griffin, Deputy County Auditor of said County for the purpose of canvassing the votes cast in all of the precincts comprising the Whatcom County Water District No. 11, as shown on the poll books in Whatcom County, Washington. Dated this 27th dayof July 11961 DISTRICT CORPORATE SEAL Secretary, Board of Commissioners of Water District No. ll of Whatcom County, Washington 0 WATER DISTRICT NO. ll OF WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON RESOLUTION NO. 63 A RESOLUTION of the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. ll of Whatcom County, Washington providing for the submission to the voters of said District at a Special Election to be held on the 15th day of Septbeniber , 1981, a proposition authorizing the levy of an additional tax of 2.00 per $1,000.00 of assessed valuation to provide $ 32,000.00 for the purpose of providing planning, engineering studies and plans and legal services for the period January 1, 1982 to December 31, 1982 for the carrying out of the Comprehensive Plan for a sewer system and water system for said District WHEREAS it has been determined by the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. ll of Whatcom County, Washington that the sum of $ 32.,000.00 in excess of millage previously voted is needed for the purpose of providing planning, engineering studies and plans and legal services for the period of January 1, 1982 to December 31, 1982 for the carrying out of the Comprehensive Plan for a Sewer System and Water System for said District; and WHEREAS there is no other source available for said required funds, now, therefore, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Commissioners of Water District No. ll of Whatcom County, Washington as follows: Section 1. It is hereby found and declared that the carrying out of the Comprehensive Plan for a sanitary sewer system and a water system requires the District to submit to the qualified voters of the District for their ratification or rejection of the proposition of a Special Levy of $2.00 for each $1,000.00 of assessed v lue to be voted upon at the election to be held on the 15thday of September, 1981. Section 2. It is hereby found and declared that an emergency exists requiring the calling of such Special Election.
