Office of the Auditor of Whatcom County, Washington Bellingham, Washington September 25, 1981 Pursuant to a notice given by Peter J. Griffin, Deputy Auditor, Whatcom County, Washington, we the undersigned Shirley Van Zanten, Chairperson of the County Council of said County and David S. Mc Eachran, Prosecuting Attorney of said County, now meet at the County seat of said County on the 25th day of September, 1981, for the purpose of canvassing the votes cast in all the voting precincts of said County, the City of Bellingham, City of Blaine, Concrete School District No. 11 and Water District No. 10 at the Primary and Special Election which was held in said County on Tuesday, the 15th day of September, 1981, the absentee votes numbering 518 having heretofore on September 15, September 22, 1981 and September 25, 1981 been opened and added to the figures. Griffin, Deputy County Auditor of Whatcom County, State of Washington do solemnly swear that the returns purporting to be the election -returns of all the precincts in Whatcom County, the City of Bellingham, City of Blaine, Concrete School District No. 11, and Water District No. 10, Whatcom County, Washington, have been in no wise altered by additions or erasures, and that they are the same as when I received them, except that the votes of the absentee voters have been added, SO HELP ME GOD. COUNTY OF WHATCOM ) The undersigned, being the officers designated by the law and constituting the Canvassing Board in and for the County of Whatcom, State of Washington, hereby certify that the foregoing pages in Whatcom County Elections Records, Volume 5, is a true and correct canvass of the votes, except as modified by the votes of absentee voters, polled in all of Whatcom County, the City of Bellingham, City of Blaine, Concrete School District No. 11, and Water District No. 10, County of Whatcom, State of Washington, at the Primary and Special Election held in the several precincts of said County on the third Tuesday, being the 15th day of September, 1981, as taken from the official returns.
