14TH DAY OF MARCH, 1978, FOR THE PURPOSE OF SUBMITTING TO THE QUALIFIED
ELECTORS OF THE DISTRICT A SPECIAL LEVY TO PROVIDE $6,000 FOR OPERATION
AND MAINTENANCE.

Pursuant to a notice given by Joan Ogden, County Auditor of
Whatcom County, Washington, we the undersigned, Larry Mc Intyre,
Acting Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of said county,
and David S. Mc Eachran, Prosecuting Attorney of said county, now
meet with Joan Ogden, County Auditor of said county, for the purpose
of canvassing the votes cast in the voting precincts of Point Roberts
Park and Recreation District, Whatcom County, Washington as shown
on the poll books of the precincts. The total number of absentee
votes cast in the Point Roberts Park and Recreation District was 3.
Joan Ogden, County Auditor, as aforesaid, now makes oath as follows:

Immediately after the oath by the County Auditor, the said Joan
Ogden, Larry Mc Intyre and David S. Mc Eachran proceed as a canvassing
board in and for Whatcom County to canvass the votes cast in all of
the precincts of the said Point Roberts Park and Recreation District
on March 14, 1978.

special election will be held in Point Roberts Park and Rec-
reation District, Whatcom County, Washington, for the purpose

be closed to original registrations and transfers between

requests a levy to produce 46,000.00 (Six Thousand Dollars) for
necessary maintenace and operations at the Point Roberts Community
Park on Benson Road and the premises known as School House Prop-
erty.,
A tract of land located in Section 3., Township 40 North, Range 3
West of W.M., described as
Commencing 338 feet East and 20 feet South of the Northeast corner
of Lot 4, Section 4, Township 40 North, Range 3 West of W.M.,
thence East 200 feet; thence South 193 feet; thence West 200 feet;
thence North 193 feet to Point of Beginning.
