BAKER SCHOOL DISTRICT NO. 507, AND WHATCOM COUNTY FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT NO. 7, WHATCOM COUNTY, WASHINGTON ON TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 1977. Office of the Auditor of Whatcom County Bellingham, Washington September 26, 1977 Pursuant to a notice given by WElla Hansen, County Auditor of Whatcom County, Washington, we the undersigned, C. J. Johnson, Chairman of the Board of County Commissioners of said County, and David S. Mc Eachran, Prosecuting Attorney of said County, now meet with Wella Hansen, County Auditor of said County, at the County seat of said County on the 26th day of September, 1977, for the purpose of canvassing the votes in the City of Bellingham, City of Blaine, City of Lynden, Bellingham SChool District No. 501, Mt. Baker School District No. 507, and Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 7 voting precincts of said County on Tuesday, September 20, 1977, the absentee votes numbering 145 having heretofore on September 22, 1977, been opened and added to the figures. Wella Hansen, County Auditor as aforesaid, now makes oath as follows: OATH OF AUDITOR STATE OF WASHINGTON) ss. COUNTY OF WHATCOM ) I, Wella Hansen, County Auditor of Whatcom County, State of Washington, do solemnly swear that the returns purporting to be the election returns of the City of Bellingham, City of Blaine, City of Lynden, Bellingham SChool District No. 501, Mt. Baker School District No. 507, and Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 7, voting precincts in Whatcom County, Washington have been in no wise altered by additions or erasures, and that they are the same as when I received them, except that the votes of the absentee voters have been added, SO HELP ME GOD: WELLA HANSEN, Auditor of Whatcom County Subscribed and sworn to before me this 26th day of September, 1977. Mc Eachran proceed as a Canvassing Board in and for said Whatcom County to canvass the votes cast in the City of Blaine, City of Bellingham, City of Lynden, Bellingham School District No. 501, Mt. Baker SChool District No. 507 and Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 7 voting precincts in said county on Tuesday, September 20, 1977. The result of said canvass as found and determined by us is set forth herein and recorded upon page,,.105, Volume 4 of Elections Records. CERTIFICATE OF CANVASSING BOARD STATE OF WASHINGTON) } ss. COUNTY OF WHATCOM The undersigned, being the officers designated by the law and constituting the Canvassing Board in and for the County of Whatcom, State of Washington, hereby certify that the foregoing page in Whatcom County Elections Records, Volume 4, Page 105, is a true and correct canvass of the votes, except as modified by the votes of absentee voters, polled in the City of Bellingham, City of Blaine, City of Lynden, Bellingham SChool District No. 501, Mt. Baker School District No. 507, and Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 7, County of Whatcom, State of Washington, at the Primary Election held in the several precincts of said County on the third Tuesday, being the 20th day of September, 1977, as taken from the official returns. That said statement and returns contain the names of all of the contestants for said Primary Election, together with the title of the office sought and the number of votes received by each candidate. That the total number of registered voters in all the voting precincts of City of Bellingham, City of Lynden, City of Blaine, Bellingham School District No. 501, Mt. Baker School District No. 507 and Whatcom County Fire Protection District No. 7, Whatcom County, as reported, is 37,143 and the number voting was 2,429 and 145 absentee votes.
