Committee Chair Ben Elenbaas called the meeting to order at 11:55 a.m. in
a hybrid meeting.
Present: 3 - Todd Donovan, Ben Elenbaas, and Jon Scanlon
Also Present: Kaylee Galloway, and Mark Stremler

Committee Discussion
1. AB2025-281 Discussion of an ordinance adopting amendments to Whatcom County Code Chapter
16.24 (Commute Trip Reduction) and adopting the 2025-2029 Commute Trip
Reduction Plan for Whatcom County
Cliff Strong, Planning and Development Services Department, briefed the
Councilmembers.
Emily Moran, Whatcom Council of Governments, spoke about how this
plan is different from the former plan.
Galloway stated the first sentence in the code amendment (WCC 16.24.010
Purpose, in Exhibit A in the ordinance) starts with an acronym without a
definition.
Strong stated he can fix that as a scrivener's error.
