Request closing the Shallow Shore Culvert Relocation Fund 3971 and the remaining funds of
$172,283.99 be returned to the Real Estate Excise Tax II fund.

ORDINANCE NO. 2025-008
CLOSING SHALLOW SHORE CULVERT RELOCATION FUND 3917
WHEREAS, on November 2411, 2020, Ordinance 2020-071 created the
Shallow Shore Culvert Relocation Fund and funded the project; and,
WHEREAS, the project has now been completed; and,
WHEREAS, the project fund is no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, the Real Estate Excise Tax II Fund contributed funds
towards the project; and,
WHEREAS, the current cash balance in the fund is $172,283.99; and,
WHEREAS, remaining cash in the fund should be returned to the Real
Estate Excise Tax II Fund,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County
Council that the Shallow Shore Culvert Relocation Fund be dissolved and its
remaining cash balance be returned to the Real Estate Excise Tax II Fund .
