Roll Call
Council Chair Barry Buchanan called the meeting to order at 10:01 a.m. in a
hybrid meeting.
Present: 7 - Barry Buchanan, Tyler Byrd, Todd Donovan, Ben Elenbaas, Kaylee Galloway,
Jon Scanlon, and Mark Stremler
Announcements
Committee Discussion
Attorney Present: None.
Buchanan stated that discussion of agenda item one may take place in
executive session pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(a). Executive session will
conclude no later than 10:35 a.m. If the meeting extends beyond the stated
conclusion time, the Council chair will make a public announcement.
Byrd moved to go into executive session until no later than 10:35 a.m. to
discuss the agenda item(s) pursuant to the RCW citation(s) as announced by
the Council Chair. The motion was seconded by Donovan.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 7 - Buchanan, Byrd, Donovan, Elenbaas, Galloway, Scanlon, and
Stremler
Nay: 0
Councilmembers entered executive session at 10:03 a.m.
1. A B2024-603 Update on negotiations and planning strategy discussion regarding collective
bargaining. Discussion of this item may take place in executive session (closed to the
public) pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(a)
