Committee Chair Ben Elenbaas called the meeting to order at 3:22 p.m. in a
hybrid meeting.
Present: 3 - Todd Donovan, Ben Elenbaas, and Jon Scanlon

1. 2�?145-5 . Discussion of an ordinance adopting various amendments to Whatcom County Code
Title 20, Zoning
The following people discussed the item the Councilmembers:
+ Cliff Strong, Planning and Development Services Department
• Lucas Clark, Planning and Development Services Department
Clark stated there are six proposed code amendments in the ordinance, one
of which is a policy change to allow cannabis retail in the Light Impact
Industrial District within Urban Growth Areas. He summarized the six
amendments and he and Strong answered questions.
