SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Supplemental #10 requests funding from the General Fund:
1. To appropriate $5,000 in Sheriff to fund 2024-OCDETF DEA RL-24-003 grant progam.
2. To appropriate $5,000 in Sheriff to fund 2024-OCDETF DEA RL-24-008 grant program.
3. To appropriate $5,000 in Sheriff to fund 2024-OCDETF DEA RL-23-0010 grant program.
4. To appropriate $100,000 in Planning and Development to fund Cascadia Law Group contract
for PetroGas engagement.
5. To appropriate $100,000 in Council to fund professional services for investigative committee.
6. To appropriate $23,636 in Health to fund OSS LMP implementation grant program.
7. To record $14,900 in Health to fund Response Division indirect companion.
8. To appropriate $31,340 in Health to fund direct billing rate, Immunizations companion.
9. To record a net zero request for labor pool in Health to fund clerical labor pool companion.
10. To record a net zero request for labor pool in Health to fund disease invest -labor pool
distribution companion.
11. To appropriate $100,000 in Non -Departmental to fund Incarceration Prevention Reduction
Task Force.

ORDINANCE NO. 2024-045
AMENDMENT NO, 10 OF THE 2024 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2023-2024 budget was adopted November 22, 2022; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2023-2024 budget;
and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by the
Whatcom County Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2023-2024
Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2022-070 is hereby amended by adding the following additional
amounts to the 2024 budget included therein:
