Call To Order
Roll Call
Committee Chair Barry Buchanan called the meeting to order at 1:15 p.m.
in a hybrid meeting.
Present: 3 - Barry Buchanan, Tyler Byrd, and Jon Scanlon
Also Present: Todd Donovan, Ben Elenbaas, Kaylee Galloway, and Mark Stremler
Announcements
Special Presentation
1. A132024-1 83. Report from District Court Probation
Bruce Van Glubt, District Court Administrator, stated he is retiring at the
end of June so, after 33 years as a County employee, this will be his last
Council presentation. He reflected on his time as a County employee. He
spoke about milestone moments in his career, including one in which he
realized he had become part of the institutional memory of the organization.
He spoke about the court and probation departments and stated they are both
thriving.
Councilmembers thanked him and spoke about the value of institutional
memory. He answered whether he worked in District Court his entire career
and described the various positions he held.

Council cando to improve how District Court is working and to make it
even better.
