A property tax increase in addition to the amount resulting from the addition of new construction and improvements to property and any increase in the value of state - assessed property is hereby authorized for the 2024 levy in the amount of $0, which is a percentage increase of 0% from the previous year. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED AND ESTABLISHED, that the Whatcom County Council does hereby authorize diverting $1,156,530 of the County Road District levy for the budget year 2024 to the General Fund. Diverted County Road Taxes are to be used for traffic law enforcement in the unincorporated areas of Whatcom County.
