SUMMARY STATEMENT OR LEGAL NOTICE LANGUAGE:
Supplemental 914 requests funding from the General Fund:
1. To appropriate $1,208 in Assessor to fund position reclass Clerk III to Clerk IV.
2. To appropriate $18,907 in Assessor to fund new Assessor Clerk position.
3. To appropriate $66,373 in District Court to fund AOC Interpreter Reimbursement Program.
4. To. appropriate $5,100,000 in Executive to fund Community Priorities. Fund.
5. To appropriate $41,597 in Health to fund Emergency Preparedness position with grant
proceeds.
6. To appropriate $33,997 in Health to fund Health Administrative labor pool adjustment.
7. To appropriate $55,000 in Health to fund Wiser Lake Assessment with grant proceeds.
8. To appropriate $100,000 in Parks to fund Canyon Lake Road Access Easement.
9. To appropriate $387,320 in Planning and Development Services to fund 2025 Comp Plan
Update with Whatcom Council of Govemements proceeds.

ORDINANCE NO. 2023 - 062
AMENDMENT NO. 14 OF THE 2023 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2023-2024 budget was adopted November 22, 2022; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2023-2024 budget;
and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by the
Whatcom County Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2023-2024
Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2022-070 is hereby amended by adding the following additional
amounts to the 2023 budget included therein:
