And the Whatcom 30 County Public Works Department agreed to review and approve the style and placement of the sign; 31 and 32 33 WHEREAS, on March 7, 2023 the Lummi Island Community Association committed to pay for the 34 creation and installation of the roadway sign at the driveway entrance to the parking lot. And the 35 Whatcom County Public Works Department agreed to create and install the sign in honorary road name 36 design as stated in WCC 12.60.150. 37 38 39 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 28 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the orchard area of the Lummi Island Ferry parking lot is given the honorary name of "Paul Davis Park". Moreover, be it ordained the driveway of the parking lot is given the honorary name of "Paul Davis Parkway". ADOPTED this 26th day of September, 2023.
