ORDINANCE NO. 2023 - 051
ESTABLISHING PARKING RESTRICTIONS ON ALDRICH ROAD
AS WHATCOM COUNTY CODE 10.24.265
WHEREAS, the Revised Code of Washington, RCW 46.61.570, authorizes the
placement of official signs prohibiting stopping, standing, or parking; and
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council has heard many complaints of nuisance
activities along Aldrich Road that warrant establishing a no parking area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
Whatcom County Code be amended to add a new section as follows:
10.24.265 Aldrich Road
A "No Parking" zone is established on Aldrich Road on both sides of Aldrich Road
from the southerly intersection of the Right -of -Way of Waldron Road to the
Bellingham City Limits.
BE IT FINALLY ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to
install the appropriate signs and that the Whatcom County Sheriff be notified by providing a
copy of this ordinance.
ADOPTED this 12th day of September , 2023.
