ORDINANCE NO. 2022-049
CLOSING AGATE HEIGHTS/ESTATE BAY LANE STORMWATER IMPROVEMENTS
FUND 365
WHEREAS, on November 12, 2014 Ordinance 2014-081 created the Agate Heights
Estate Fund and funded the project; and,
WHEREAS, the REET II fund contributed $1,298,219 towards the project; and,
WHEREAS, the project has now been completed; and,
WHEREAS, the project fund is no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, remaining cash in the fund should be returned to the REET II Fund,
WHEREAS, the current cash balance in the fund is approximately $194,212.76
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
Agate Heights/Estate Bay Lane Stormwater Improvements Fund be dissolved and its
remaining cash I nce be returned to the REET II Fund.
