ORDINANCE NO. 2022-031
ESTABLISHING PARKING CONTROL ON EDDIE LANE WITHIN THE PLAT OF
WHISPER LAKE
WHEREAS, in compliance with RCW 46.61.570, it is found necessary and expedient to
place traffic control signs on certain County Roads; and
WHEREAS, the creation of a no parking zone was a requirement of the County for
subdivision approval of The Plat of Whisper Lake; and
WHEREAS, it was found that the following newly constructed roadway within the
subdivision should be fitted with no parking signs; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that a No
Parking Anytime zone be established on the north side of Eddie Ln within the Plat of Whisper
Lake, located within Section 31, Township 40 North, Range 1 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, by the Whatcom County Council that the following be
added to the Whatcom County Code, Section 10.24.255:
10.24.255 Eddie Ln.
"No Parking Anytime" signs shall be placed on the north side of Eddie Lane from
SR-548/Blaine Road westerly to the cul-de-sac, located within Section 31, Township 40
North, Range 1 East, W.M.
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the County Engineer is hereby directed to install the
appropriate signage and the Whatcom County Sheriff and Washington State Patrol be notified by
a copy of th s,pgrcjnance.
