Hemmi Road be removed; and WHEREAS, the Sheriff's Office Traffic Sergeant has express support for the removal of this School Speed Zone; and WHEREAS, the County Engineer has agreed to remove this school speed zone; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the school speed zone on Hannegan Road from 500 feet north of Ten Mile Road to E. Hemmi Road in Sections 16 and 17, Township 39 North, Range 3 East, W.M., be removed; and BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, by the Whatcom County Council that Whatcom County Code Section 10,04,095 is amended as follows: 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25 26 27 BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, that the County Engineer is hereby directed to remove the appropriate signs and the Whatcom County Sheriff and Washington State Patrol be notified by a copy of this ordinance.
