Committee Chair Carol Frazey called the meeting to order at 1:16 p.m. in a
virtual meeting.
Present: 3 - Carol Frazey, Todd Donovan, and Rud Browne
Absent: None
Also Present: Barry Buchanan, Ben Elenbaas, and Kathy Kershner

Special Presentation
1. AB202.1-70 . Report from the Public Works Department
The following people reported and answered questions:
• Jon Hutchings, Public Works Department Director
• Jim Karcher, Public Works Department
They answered whether there is any particular project that will be most
challenging to get done timewise, what the plan will be for solutions around
Silver Lake, what is included in the Slater Road project as referred to in the
presentation, and looking at possible solutions for funding.
This agenda item was REPORTED.
Committee Discussion and Recommendation to Council
1. AB2021-713 Resolution in the matter of considering vacating an unnamed alley within the Plat of
Lummi Park on Lummi Island
Andrew Hester, Public Works Department, briefed the Councilmembers
and answered questions about the fees.
Donovan moved that the Resolution be RECOMMENDED FOR
APPROVAL. The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 3 - Frazey, Donovan, and Browne
Nay: 0
