Call To Order
Roll Call
Committee Chair Barry Buchanan called the meeting to order at 1:36 p.m.
in a virtual meeting.
Present: 3 - Barry Buchanan, Tyler Byrd, and Carol Frazey
Absent: None
Also Present: Rud Browne, Todd Donovan, and Ben Elenbaas
Announcements
Committee Discussion
1. AB2021-560 Discussion regarding the Public Health, Safety, and Justice Initiative
Buchanan briefed the Councilmembers and he and Tyler Schroeder,
Executive's Office, answered questions.
They answered why this is coming back right now, whether the same people
are still on the committee, and the status of the contract with Hellmuth,
Obata and Kassabaum (HOK).
Frazey moved to recommend to the Council that they reaffirm the
principles of the Justice Project Stakeholder Advisory Committee and Res
2019-036 and reengage the committee.
Councilmembers discussed the motion.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aye: 3 - Frazey, Byrd, and Buchanan
Nay: 0
Dana Brown -Davis, Clerk of the Council, answered what action needs to
happen for tonight and that this motion will be a recommendation to the
Council.
This agenda item was DISCUSSED AND MOTION(S) APPROVED.
