1. AB2021-304 Report from the Incarceration Prevention and Reduction Task Force
The following people spoke:
• Jack Hovenier, Incarceration Prevention and Reduction Task Force
Co -Chair
• Stephen Gockley, Incarceration Prevention and Reduction Task
Force Co -Chair
They answered whether there are some priorities that would require help
from the Council and what can be done to get more utilization of drug court.

2. AB2021-406 Report from Juvenile Court
Dave Reynolds, Superior Court Director, reported and answered questions
about the reported 360 dependency cases currently in Whatcom County and
the 35 percent rise in these cases over the last 12 years.
