Adjournment
June 29, 2021
Satpal Sidhu, County Executive, and Councilmembers discussed the issue,
possible ways to help, whether an emergency ordinance should be put
together for discussion tonight, whether that would need to be run through
legal counsel before being brought forward, making sure whatever they do
follows the rules on gifts of public funds, and passing a resolution now and
a regular ordinance later as opposed to an emergency ordinance, since some
assistance has already been given by the Port of Bellingham.
The meeting adjourned at 12:02 p.m.
