NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the Public Works Department is hereby directed, subject to further consideration for re-establishing access for adjoining property owners, to close Manley Road to motorized vehicular traffic from approximately 0.98 miles northwesterly of Pacific Highway to the end of the Manley Road right- of-way; and BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that as a condition of closure, the requesting Manley Road residents will install proper signs, vehicle and pedestrian gate, allowing pedestrian and non - motorized access along said portion of Manley Road, as approved by Whatcom County Public Works through a Revocable Encroachment Permit.
