Committee Chair Carol Frazey called the meeting to order at 1:31 p.m. in a
virtual meeting.
Present: 3 - Carol Frazey, Todd Donovan and Rud Browne
Absent: None
Also Present: Barry Buchanan, Ben Elenbaas, and Kathy Kershner
Special Presentation
1. AB2021-158 Report from Whatcom County Public Works Department
The following staff reported:
• Jon Hutchings, Public Works Department Director
• Jim Karcher, Public Works Department
They answered questions about whether the culvert included in the East
Hemmi Road Flood Mitigation Project gives any fish passage improvement
and whether there is anything the Council can do to help fill open staff
positions in the Public Works Department.
