Council Committee of the Committee Minutes - Final May 5, 2020 Whole -Executive Session Call To Order Roll Call Council Chair Barry Buchanan called the meeting to order at 12:30 p.m. in a virtual meeting. Present: 7 - Rud Browne, Barry Buchanan, Tyler Byrd, Todd Donovan, Carol Frazey, Ben Elenbaas and Kathy Kershner Absent: None Committee Discussion Attorney Present: None. Buchanan stated that discussion of agenda item one may take place in executive session pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(a). Executive session will conclude no later than 1 p.m. If the meeting extends beyond the stated conclusion time, he will step out of the meeting to make a public announcement. Donovan moved to go into executive session until no later than 1 p.m. to discuss the agenda items pursuant to the RCW citations as announced by the Council Chair. The motion was seconded. The motion carried by the following vote: Aye: 7 - Browne, Buchanan, Byrd, Donovan, Elenbaas, Frazey and Kershner Nay: 0 1. AB2020-201 Update on negotiations and planning strategy discussion regarding collective bargaining [Discussion of this item may take place in executive session (closed to public) pursuant to RCW 42.30.140(4)(a)] Other Business Adjournment This agenda item was DISCUSSED.
