Requests funding from the General Fund:
1. To appropriate $154,946 in Non Departmental to fund COVID-19 related urgent housing
needs through Opportunity Council Public Services program.

ORDINANCE NO. 2020-028
AMENDMENT NO. 11 OF THE 2020 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council adopted Emergency Ordinance No. 2020-
020 amending the Whatcom County budget in the amount of $154,946; and,
WHEREAS, it is necessary to adopt a permanent ordinance to replace the
emergency ordinance as it expires on the sixty-first day following the date it became
law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
2019-2020 Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2018-064 is hereby amended by
adding an additional $154,946 to the 2020 budget as presented herein:
