• Rhayma Blake, Lummi Island Ferry Advisory Committee, spoke about the
Lummi Island ferry replacement project and AB2019-223, Whatcom County
Comprehensive Plan amendments concerning the Lummi Island Ferry.
• Bob Gay spoke about the proposed ordinance creating a local employee and
apprenticeship program (AB2019-210) and answered questions about state
requirements for apprenticeship.

possibility of running the Plantation Rifle Range.
Councilmembers and the Custer Sportsman's Club representatives spoke about
collaborating on the potential operations of the Plantation Rifle Range to make it run more
efficiently.
