6 Council Chair Rud Browne called the meeting to order at 1:05 p.m. in the Council
7 Conference Room, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.

17 1. AB2019-222 DISCUSSION REGARDING A POTENTIAL PROPERTY ACQUISITION FOR
18 THE FLOOD CONTROL ZONE DISTRICT
19 Attorney Present: None

21 Browne stated that discussion of agenda item one may take place in executive
22 session pursuant to 42.30.110 (1) (b). Executive session will conclude no later than 1:30
23 p.m. If the meeting extends beyond the stated conclusion time, he will step out of the
24 meeting to make a public announcement.

26 Buchanan moved to go into executive session until no later than 1:30 p.m. to
27 discuss the agenda items pursuant to RCW citations as announced by the Council Chair.
28 The motion was seconded.
