NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the petty cash fund for the Sheriff's Office is hereby increased from $60 to $300 in order to maintain 3 separate $100 cash drawers for the sole purpose of providing change when receipting payments from customers. BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Whatcom County Treasurer shall follow current county policy to accomplish this increase.
