In accordance with Whatcom County Code 12.60.140, it has been requested that the name of Creasy Road be
changed to Creasey Road.

ORDINANCE NO. 2018 -053
CHANGING THE NAME OF CREASY ROAD TO CREASEY ROAD
WHEREAS, Creasy Road was originally platted as Creasey Road in 1883; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Jeff Creasey wishes to honor the memory of his grandfather, Mr.
William Ralph Creasey, by correcting the spelling of Creasy Road; and
WHEREAS, local residents have no objection to changing their road name to
Creasey Road; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that
the name of Creasy Road be changed to Creasey Road:
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Engineer is hereby directed to
install the appropriate signs; and
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the Sheriff's Department be provided a copy
of this ordinance.
ADOPTED this 23rd day of October 2018.
