21 1. REPORT FROM JUVENILE COURT (AB2018 -066)

23 Dave Reynolds, Juvenile Court Administrator, submitted and read from a
24 presentation (on file). He answered questions on the differences between the juvenile and
25 adult jail population; juvenile solitary confinement policies; truancy; where youths under
26 dependency are placed; the general reasons youth are in detention; staff levels; mental
27 health services available to youth in detention; and providing juveniles with identification
28 documents when released from detention.
