ORDINANCE NO. 2018 -028
CLOSING the 2015 County Roadway Safety Program Fund 355
WHEREAS, on November 25, 2014, Ordinance 2014 -071 created the 2015 County Roadway Safety
Program Fund 355 and funded the project; and,
WHEREAS, the project has now been completed; and,
WHEREAS, the project fund is no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, the Road Fund contributed $70,000 towards the project; and,
WHEREAS, the current cash balance in the project fund is approximately $54,817; and,
WHEREAS, remaining cash in the fund should be returned to the Road Fund;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2015 County
Roadway Safety Program Fund 355 be dissolved and its remaining cash balance returned to the Road
Fund.
