CALL TO ORDER
Committee Chair Tyler Byrd called the meeting to order at 2:45 p.m. in the Council
Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.
ROLL CALL
Present: Barbara Brenner, Tyler Byrd, and Todd Donovan
Absent: None
Also Present: Tim Ballew, Rud Browne, and Barry Buchanan
COMMITTEE DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATIONS TO COUNCIL
1. REQUEST FOR AN ADDITIONAL ONE -YEAR EXTENSION FOR FINAL
APPROVAL FOR THE LINCOLN ROAD LONG SUBDIVISION AND PLANNED
UNIT DEVELOPMENT (AB2018 -111)
Brenner moved to recommend approval to the full Council.
Amy Keenan, Planning and Development Services Department, gave a staff report
and answered questions on the permit timeframes, what happened with the permit during
the first four years, and the possibility of Council adding a condition to apply the current
codes.
Derek Holzl, Jones Engineers, answered questions about the delay in getting the
project developed and described the work they've put into the project so far.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Brenner, Byrd, and Donovan (3)
Nays: None (0)
OTHER BUSINESS
There was no other business.
ADJOURN
