ORDINANCE NO. 2016 -064
CLOSING HANNEGAN RD STRUCTURAL OVERLAY PROJECT BUDGET FUND 356
WHEREAS, on November 25, 2014 Ordinance 2014 -072 created the Hannegan Rd
Structural Overlay Fund and funded the project; and,
WHEREAS, the Road Fund contributed $2,000,000 towards the project; and,
WHEREAS, the project has now been completed; and,
WHEREAS, the project fund is no longer needed; and,
WHEREAS, remaining cash in the fund should be returned to the Road Fund; 04
WHEREAS, the current cash balance in the fund is $527,042;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the
Hannegan Rd Structural Overlay Fund be dissolved and its remaining cash balance be
returned to the Road Fund.
