Supplemental #17 requests funding from the General Fund.
1. To appropriate $10,000 in Health to fund University of Washington PERRCoLATE project from grant proceeds.
2. To appropriate $56,646 in Health to fund Mental Health Block Grant program from grant proceeds.
3. To appropriate $40,000 in Health to fund Medicaid Administration Claiming reconciliation.
4. To appropriate $5,000 in the Sheriffs Department to fund overtime for drug enforcement activities from federal
contract proceeds.
5. To appropriate $5,000 in the Sheriffs Department to fund overtime.for drug enforcement activities from second
federal contract proceeds.
From the Election Reserve Fund:
6. To appropriate $285,000 to fund year end election costs partially funded by election revenues.

ORDINANCE NO. 2016 -060
AMENDMENT NO. 17 OF THE 2016 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2015 -2016 budget was adopted November 25, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2015 -2016
budget; and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2015 -2016
Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2014 -065 is hereby amended by adding the following
additional amounts to the 2016 budget included therein:
