This resolution orders the cancellation of accounts receivable that are over a year old and uncollectible. The total
amount to be cancelled is $25,745.41.

RESOLUTION NO. 2016 -042
ORDERING THE CANCELLATION OF ACCOUNTS
RECEIVABLE MORE THAN A YEAR OLD
WHEREAS, the Revised Code of Washington, Section 36.32.120, states
the County legislative authority shall audit the collection of money belonging to the
County; and,
WHEREAS, Administrative Services has provided a list of accounts
receivable that were incurred prior to April 1, 2014 and are uncollectible.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County
Council that Administrative Services Finance is directed to write off as uncollectible
accounts receivable listed in Exhibit A.
