Supplemental #16 requests funding from the General Fund.
1. To appropriate $4,370 in WSU Extension to fund Facilitator Training for the Strengthening Families
Program from Health Department transfer.
2. To appropriate $10,000 in WSU Extension to fund Community Horticulture and Waste Reduction education
from Solid Waste Fund transfer.

ORDINANCE NO. 2016 -047
AMENDMENT NO. 16 OF THE 2016 BUDGET
WHEREAS, the 2015 -2016 budget was adopted November 25, 2014; and,
WHEREAS, changing circumstances require modifications to the approved 2015 -2016
budget; and,
WHEREAS, the modifications to the budget have been assembled here for deliberation by
the Whatcom County Council.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Whatcom County Council that the 2015 -2016
Whatcom County Budget Ordinance #2014 -065 is hereby amended by adding the following
additional amounts to the 2016 budget included therein:
