7 ESTABLISHING REGULAR WHATCOM COUNTY COUNCIL
8 MEETING DATES FOR 2017

10 WHEREAS, the Whatcom County Council has set every other Tuesday as its
1.1 regular meeting schedule; and

13 WHEREAS, all departments should plan to schedule items in accordance with the
14 Council's approved meeting schedule to avoid the need for special meetings; and
15
1.6 WHEREAS, it is the Council's policy to plan for breaks in its schedule in August
17 and December and to avoid scheduling meetings on select dates during the year.

19 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Whatcom County Council that
20 regular Council meetings shall be scheduled for the following dates in 2017:

24 February 7 and 21
25 March 7 and 21
26 April 4 and 18
27 May 2, 16, and 30
28 June 13 and 27
29 July 11 and 25
30 August 8
