CALL TO ORDER
Committee Chair Barbara Brenner called the meeting to order at 1:30 p.m. in the
Council Chambers, 311 Grand Avenue, Bellingham, Washington.
ROLL CALL
Present: Barbara Brenner, Rud Browne, and Ken Mann
Absent: None
Also Present: Barry Buchanan, Todd Donovan, and Satpal Sidhu
COMMITTEE DISCUSSION AND RECOMMENDATION TO COUNCIL
1. RESOLUTION TO CONSIDER THE VACATION OF AN UNNAMED ALLEY WITHIN
THE WHISPERING PINES PLAT (AB2016 -210)
Andrew Hester, Public Works Department, gave a staff report and answered
questions about the applicants' reasons for application and whether the County would need
any of the area for stormwater or other utilities in the future, and whether all the neighbors
adjacent to the alley approve of the vacation.
Mann moved to recommend approval to the full Council.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Brenner, Browne, and Mann (3)
Nays: None (0)
OTHER BUSINESS
There was no other business.
